The Northern Virginia Chapter of Trout Unlimited (NVATU) brings together community members who enjoy sharing in fishing experiences; participating in conservation activities; educating future generations; and engaging partner organizations to ensure the health of our local streams, rivers and watersheds.

The location for this event is: Roundtree Park (3320 Annandale Rd, Falls Church, VA 22042)
In lieu of a meeting, the chapter will host a casting clinic and provide a pizza dinner. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. The chapter asks you to RSVP so we can plan for the food.

Fly Fisher International Casting Instructors will be providing instruction on “casts that catch fish”: mending the line, improving accuracy, casting in the wind, and increasing distance.
Bring your favorite rod outfit, including a practice leader, a hat, and glasses.
We will start casting at 5:30 p.m.
We will head to the pavilion for pizza around 7:00 p.m.
During diner we will have some special raffles that you will not want to miss, including a 6’6” 3- piece Redington Butterstick Rod, Lamson Liquid S Smoke Reel, and Scientific Anglers Mastery Floating Line.
